The filming was done in several locations around the state in Australia. A significant part of filming for the film took place in Cairns, the gateway to the Daintree Rainforest and Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. As COVID restrictions limited the locations, Cairns doubled as San Francisco. The film was also shot in Palm Cove, which is located around 15 miles away from Cairns.
